Sustainable Development Goals
The Forest School work we do from Reception through to Year 6 is linked to a number of sustainable development goals but primarily to goal number 15, Life on Land.
A flourishing life on land is the foundation for our life on this planet. We are all part of the planet’s ecosystem and we have caused severe damage to it through deforestation, loss of natural habitats and land degradation. Children learn what needs to change in order to improve and sustain the quality of life on our planet.
Having effective global citizens who have an understanding of the wider world and their role within it weaves through all that we do here at Annecy.
